As BETA’s Practice lead, Arnold works with the members and built environment firms to understand their business needs, and to formulate strategies to catalyse their R&I efforts.


Prior to joining BCA and BETA, Arnold was an engineer at Pepperl & Fuchs where he was involved in the entire product life cycle of an industrial sensor from product development, product transfer, to manufacturing operations. In his previous role at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Arnold was active in managing consular digitalisation efforts in collaboration with government agencies and organised orientation visits of Singapore’s Honorary Consul-Generals.


Arnold graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Bioengineering) from NUS and pursued his Masters of Science (Mechanical Engineering) at the Darmstadt University of Technology in Germany. In his free time, Arnold is an avid learner of foreign languages and enjoys nature trails.
